Matt Knowles

He is a big kid. Seriously, ask his wife Melissa. Together they lead our children’s department and we couldn’t love them more. Matt discovered his passion for leading kids to encounter Christ as a volunteer in 2014. God called him deeper and he followed. Matt graduated Kidmin Academy in 2017 and was credentialed by the Assemblies of God in 2019.

Matt’s vibrant and fun-loving personality is just part of what has our kid’s running, literally running, to their classes when they arrive. For him, everything is about helping kids connect with Jesus in a real and tangible way, so that their faith is based on their own experience with God.

In his spare time, Matt and his family love to bowl. Not like let’s go have pizza and family time at the bowling lanes. There is pizza and family time, but we’re talking legitimate, secret talent, league professionals – it’s awesome. We should warn you though, he is a fan of the Patriots. Grace, people, grace.
